As we were thinking about ways to affordably transform Evie’s neutral nursery into something a little different for baby sister, adding a sign with baby’s name on it kept showing up in all of my inspiration pictures. But with so many options available online, how do you pick?
We’re rounding up the best baby name signs for your nursery, including the one we picked, all at reasonable price points.

SCRIPT NAME SIGNS
The most common name sign in nurseries are script name signs featuring the baby’s first name, which is the style we opted for. We purchased from YippeeDaisy on Etsy and couldn’t be happier (exact sign linked here). The sign shipped out within 3 days and arrived just 2 days after that. Most other shops we looked at had processing times of 2-3 weeks, plus shipping.

For reference, our sign is 30″ in the “Modern” font and was purchased unfinished with an unsanded back. Make sure you preview the different fonts they offer to ensure the sign looks exactly how you’d like! We stained ours with some stain we already had so it matched other furniture in the house and hung using heavy duty command strip picture hanging strips.
Stacked First and Middle Name Signs
These signs are another popular option that enable you to include the first and last name on the wall. Again, we can’t recommend anyone other than YippeeDaisy on these – their quality is great, their pricing is the most reasonable we’ve seen, and they ship incredibly fast!

30″ is ideal for a crib, unless you have other items on the wall and want to go a bit smaller. Use their Joyful or Modern fonts for a little girl, and Adventureland for a boy.
If you’re looking for a slightly different style, House of Rounds also has a highly reviewed option with a quick production turnaround. I might opt for a larger size with HoR since their fonts are not as tall as the YippeeDaisy options.
Round Name Signs
If you want a smaller sign or an option to add to a gallery wall, round name signs are gorgeous. Some of my favorite inspiration images for a baby girl’s nursery included a round name sign with faux flowers for a whimsical, romantic look. These signs do take more effort to make, so expect the price to be double (or more) the cost of the cut signs above.
SHOP: NAME SIGN
The option above is from Hickory Hollow Designs and ships in less than two weeks. This sign from Hickory Home Co is also a similar price point and style – the choice just depends on which font you prefer!
