Bulu Box Review

Have you heard of Bulu Box? It’s a new subscription box that sends you 4-5 vitamin, supplement, and healthy snack samples to try each month. I was given the opportunity to try out a box last month, thanks to my friends at SweatPink.

Bulu Box

My box had 6 samples in it, as well as the option to buy full size products direct from Bulu Box at a discount.Included was Bugeater Foods Jump Protein {made from crickets}, anti-itch cream, a fiber supplement, electrolyte packets, a Mediterra Snack Bar, and a T-shaped toothbrush.

The Good

The products in the box were all interesting, and items I wouldn’t have otherwise purchased – especially the cricket protein!{Truth be told, I never got up the nerve to try it.The boyfriend, on the other hand, was a little too eager.}The electrolyte packets {Island Boost} were my favorite. They provide that energy boost you need in the middle of a long run or workout without the use of caffeine or other stimulants.Bulu Box is a great way to expand your nutritional horizons and find something new that might work for you.

The Bad

The products are a bit expensive to purchase – which says a lot about the value of the box, but didn’t necessarily promote repeat buys.I might grab more of the Mediterra Bars which I’ve seen on sale at Target, but at $30-40 for 7-10 of the other items, I’ll likely pass.

Best For…

If you’re looking to mix up the supplements you use and tend to do a lot of outdoor activities {this box seems to cater more to runners, hikers, bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts than, say, bodybuilders}, then this box is right up your alley. You’ll get a few new products, most of which you’ve never heard of, delivered right to your door, complete with lots of literature about the benefits of each.
