I am this close to sharing our entire bathroom renovation. It’s beautiful. I’m obsessed – but we have a few decor pieces to arrive before we share the whole thing. Today, we’re talking about these wall mounted faucets.

The wall mounted faucets weren’t in the original design. But, when my husband found me in near tears after the framing for the shower went up, freaked out that we weren’t going to have enough walking space in our narrow counters, the design changed. Our contractor was quick to swoop in and suggest we reduce the vanity depth from 21” to 18” and switch to wall mounted faucets. He warned us though – wall mounted faucets are pricey!
And they are. Many of the major brands (Delta, Kohler, etc.) charge $400 plus per faucet! Wall mount faucets are still pretty new and aren’t sold in the volumes as standard faucets because the wall and backsplash has to be removed to install them. Less volume = higher prices. Thankfully, we discovered Kingston Brass sells many options for less than $200. We have Kingston Brass faucets in our kitchen and mother-in-law suite kitchenette, so we were confident in the quality.
We were undecided between this straight faucet and this one with a more dramatic arc. The arc ended up being just what our bathroom needed, so we returned the others.
THE INSTALL
As we were picking faucets, I was shocked at how little info there was on how and where to mount them. The general agreement was 8” ideally. We mounted them at 8” exactly and the water hits the center of the sink.
Wall mounted faucets do have to be setup before the backsplash is installed. Keep that in mind when planning your project timeline. There’s also a tiny silver screw that is used to attach the handles after the backsplash is up. We used a little Rub n Buff in Ebony to blend the screws with the rest of the faucet.
OUR FAVORITES
I swear this post isn’t sponsored by Kingston Brass. We just fell in love with the brand years ago and now have their faucets in both of our kitchens (if you’re new here, we built a new guesthouse last year) and both of the bathrooms we just redid. They have the most beautiful vintage lines and finish options (their antique brass faucets are seriously swoon-worthy), and they’re incredibly well-made. I’m always shocked at how heavy they are! Their prices are also beyond reasonable.
