When it came time to transform our nursery for Baby 2, I knew I wanted something different from Evie’s neutral nursery, but lacked a clear vision. We opted to start fresh, repainting the room from grey to white. A few accessories were layered in so it felt “finished” when she came home from the hospital – but that was it. Now that she’s starting to spend more time in her room, I need to nail down a theme that can grow with her.
From the moment I first saw this wallpaper from Rifle Paper Co, I’ve been dreaming of places to use it. Wouldn’t a vintage travel themed nursery be the cutest?

The wallpaper comes in a few different colorways and would be perfect for a little girl or little boy’s room based on which you pick! It’s a bold pattern, so stick to an accent wall or space above headboard paneling.
I love the classic lines of this solid wood convertible crib and how versatile it can be regardless of a room’s decor – a must if you’re planning to have more than one baby. It goes perfectly with this timeless 4 drawer dresser with changing top. Add in brushed gold accents and lighting for a warm, rich room.
Throw pillows and blankets give a solid white rocker personality (we have, and love, this one. You can buy feet for it when your kids are older and repurpose it as a wingback chair!). And, they’re great pieces to incorporate into a “big kid room” in the future.
Purchasing printables like this ABC city sign or “the world is yours” on Etsy is a great way to support small businesses and keep your decor super affordable. Mix them with family photos in brass and marble frames to add texture and depth to the walls without wallpaper.
Of course, no travel themed nursery would be complete without a vintage-looking suitcase, globe, and airplane ride-on toy. Seriously, how precious is this??
